iDOL@NSTER

osu! UCI is excited to host iDOL@NSTER! We will be hosting an osu! standard and 4K Mania tournament, so get ready to click those circles. iDOL@NSTER is an in-person BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) event, so make sure to bring all your necessary gadgets and accessories (including an ethernet cable, power strip, etc.).

Location

The tournament will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 9AM to 9PM. We will be located in the UCI Student Center, Moss Cove AB, full address: 311 W Peltason Dr, Irvine, CA 92697. Food is not provided at the event, but there are plenty of chains and restaurants in walking distance around the area. All-day parking is available in the adjacent Student Center Parking Structure for around $10. Please get here early as there will be other events taking up parking spots.

Registration

Food and refreshments are not provided by iDOL@NSTER. There are retail chains within the Student Center building, and a plaza called University Center with many more options across the street. We have a designated dinner break in our schedule.

Each player location has 1 guaranteed power outlet and Ethernet port. If you require the use of Ethernet, please bring your own cable.

Rules

Lobby and Matches

• Missing your match counts as a loss; no rematches will be made
• ScoreV2 win condition
• Warmups will not be allowed
• Low roll bans first, high roll picks first
• Leaving tournament premises (Moss Cove AB) outside of assigned break times will result in a forfeiture of the tournament
• No-shows will be automatically considered forfeiture
• Tournament participants must notify staff before leaving tournament premises
• Other rules are explained in the format infographic or at the event. You can also ask us on Discord

Disconnection

• On first disconnect, the opponent decides to rematch or not
• Second and further disconnects are counted as losses

Match Reporting

• Both players will have to report into the main desk together to report their scores
• Both players must unanimously agree on the winner of the match
• In the case of disagreement a referee will check the match history link provided and make a judgement call

Misconduct & Cheating

• Unsportsmanlike behavior and harassment will not be tolerated and can factor into your removal
• Any sort of verbal harassment towards another in the tourney will NOT be tolerated. This includes referees, bystanders, and any other attendees of the LAN
• Players will have their computers inspected prior to the beginning of matches to ensure that there are no illegal programs running at the time
• Under no circumstances are players allowed to touch the peripherals or computer of another without explicit permission

Any disregard for these rules will be met with punishment, ranging from a warning to immediate disqualification. It will be up to the discretion of the staff to punish based on the severity of the offense. *Disclaimer: These rules and regulations are subject to change without notice, and hence should be reviewed frequently.
